• Form & dress: Graceful goddess, white or light clothes—clarity of knowledge.
• Adornments: Simple or royal jewelry, white flower garlands; white lotus seat.
• Sacred objects (not war weapons): Veena (lute); book or manuscript; rosary; kamandalu (water pot)—these are her attributes, not battle weapons.
• Astra: Standard images do not give Maa Saraswati war weapons—if you see weapons, the image may be a special story; look at all hands carefully.
• Vahana: Swan or goose; some regions use a peacock instead.
